Tony Souder: Founder
Tony is the Founder of the Pray for Me Campaign and Executive Director of the Chattanooga Youth Network, a ministry dedicated to helping churches flourish in bringing the greatness of God to the next generation. For over 25 years he has connected, coached and cared for youth ministry leaders across denominational and racial lines around the southeast. Since 2014 he has specifically been equipping churches across the country in building natural and effective intergenerational relationships beginning with prayer. The Pray for Me Campaign has been launched in over 470 churches, creating over 36,500 life-giving intergenerational relationships in 39 states and 5 foreign countries. He is author of the Pray for Me Prayer Guides, which have been translated into both Spanish and Chinese. Tony and his wife Rhonda have been married since 1985. They have twin adult daughters and live in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
zach wyatt: director of ministry connections
Zach is the Director of Ministry Connections at the Chattanooga Youth Network and an advocate for the Pray for Me Campaign. Zach has served in youth ministry for over 15 years and is a graduate of Tennessee Temple University with a degree in Bible. He and his wife, April, have been married since 2003 and they have two sons, Noah and Eli. Zach is passionate about loving and serving youth leaders in our region well. He also loves the Tennessee Vols, Tex-Mex food, and his family, in no particular order.
MARY ELIZABETH haynes: ministry assistant
Mary Elizabeth is our Ministry Assistant. If you have any questions at all about who we are or what we do, she's your go-to person! Mary Elizabeth grew up in Alabama and graduated from Auburn University where she studied Communication Disorders and Human Development. After graduation, she served on staff with RUF at Texas Christian University for three years before moving to Chattanooga in the summer of 2016. Mary Elizabeth lives in St. Elmo, loves to be outside, loves to read, loves a good taco and loves any and all Tom Hanks films.
Cristina Smith: Hispanic ministry coordinator
Cristina is our Hispanic ministry coordinator. She grew up in Spain and Equatorial Guinea (a tiny Spanish speaking country in central Africa) and she completed her masters in Applied Linguistics in Villablino, Spain. As well as working here, she is working on Scripture promotion in minority languages of Equatorial Guinea. Cristina loves languages and playing around with computers and design.
Sylvia Welch: Communications assistant
Sylvia is our communications assistant. She grew up in Alabama and attended Auburn University where she studied English and Non-profit work. After graduation, she moved to Chattanooga and interned with us as a participant in the Chattanooga Fellows Program, a 9-month transitional program that equips post-graduates with the tools to integrate their faith with their work. She is now pursuing her masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Richmont Graduate University. Sylvia is enjoying her new city and loves to read, write, travel, and spend time with friends and family.
