This video series was created at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, but is a powerful series that you can walk through at any time.
The next generation is watching us during times of crisis like this pandemic–how are we responding? Are we taking the opportunity to pray with and for them?
Favor
The need for God’s people to be praying for his favor in their lives and in the lives of others is especially apparent these days. In this video, Tony outlines four simple steps to praying for God’s favor over specific needs.
Wisdom
Wisdom. Let’s commit to praying that God would pour out his wisdom on the next generation!
Love
Let’s echo Paul’s prayer in Ephesians 3:14-21 as we pray for the next generation: that they might know “what is the breadth and length and height and depth” of God’s love!
Faith
Why is faith important? May God grant you faith to take hold of His promises today!
Purity
Let’s pray that young people will have “positional purity” before God in Christ, purified by his sacrifice, as well as “practical purity”–depending on God for guidance, strength, and forgiveness in the fight of faith.
Speech
The Bible has a lot to say about guarding our speech–words matter! May our speech be a blessing to the next generation as we pray to our Father on their behalf.
Conduct
May God pour out his favor on the next generation and cultivate wisdom, love, faith, and purity in their lives that spring forth in speech and conduct that bring glory to His name!
